Ralph's Backporch
With Ralph and Tamara
'2009 Radio Station of the Year'
Ralphs Back Porch is a global internet radio show. We reach out to all fifty states as well as over twenty three foriegn countries and growing every day. Our audience ranges from old western hands who have loved western and cowboy music for a long, long time to people who have never been exposed to western music and western culture. Through the massive technology of the internet we can now reach an audience who actively seeks music of a different flavor and we are proud to bring folks WESTERN!
Our show is a radio talk show format with music thrown in, not as an afterthought, but because we are highlighting any artist who works hard to present to the world his or her songs and poetry. We talk to artists of all kinds in the Western & cowboy field, such men and women as Baxter Black, Don Edwards, The Gillette Bros, Jean Prescott, Joyce Woodson, Juni Fisher, Joni Harms, RW Hampton, Dave Stamey, Wylie and a host of both well known and totally unknown singers, songwriters and cowboy poets.
We like to have fun and really get down to the nitty-gritty when it comes to the folks who visit with us on the Back Porch. You never know who will show up and you never know what they might say when they do! Everybody has a good time on the Back Porch because it's a relaxed atmosphere where people can let down their hair and share with the fans their lives, struggles, joys and goals in the music industry as well as in real life.
We broadcast the show on Monday and Friday nights, 7 until 9 pm, Cental Standard Time and all anyone has to do to join the fun is log onto their computer, go to www.blogtalkradio.com/ralphsbackporch and click the button to join us in the chatroom, listen to great music and find out about their favorite western artists!
Monday night is Radio Ranch Round Up and the phone lines are open to the public! Yep, we open the phone lines so you may be sharing a phone line with some of the stars in western music! Just call 347 215 8849 and let us know what's going on in your world! Artists can tell fans about gigs, events, new projects and why they ride the roads in search of folks to sing to, while the public can say howdy to western stars or give us a recipe or tell a joke! It's open to all!
"The Back Porch is also proud to bring all the folks at home ALL MUSIC NIGHT on Wednesdays for your listening pleasure! Just LOG ON to your comupter to TUNE IN to the show!"
